Nepal is geographically, culturally and socially diverse country, we can see diversity in the people living in different parts of our country. Nepal is divided into three geographical  region i.e. ( Terai region, Hilly region and Himalayan region). The climatic condition of our country is very different in these three regions. People living in these parts of our country have their own custom, language, religion, lifestyle and culture. It is very difficult to find any village or any municipality where people of only one castes or religion live. The most beautiful thing of our country is "Unity in Diversity."

                                                                                      Nepal is multi-ethnic country because in Nepal their live multiple cast people together by maintaining social harmony. In Nepal there are altogether 125 Castes people live together.

                                                                                    Nepal is multi-lingual country because a lot of languages are spoken in Nepal. Nepali is the lingua franca or official language of Nepalese people but there are many other language as well. In Nepal there are total 123 languages spoken by Nepalese people.

                                                            Nepal is multi-religious because it have multiple religious being practice inside Nepal. Vast majority of Nepalis are Hindus. There are nearly 81.3% are Hindus, 9% are Buddhist, 4.4% are Muslim and 1.4% are Christians and several other religions people live together by maintaining social norms, values, positive thought and social harmony.

                                Nepal is multi-cultural country. Nepal is multi-ethnic, multi-religious, multi-lingual country. All the people living in Nepal have their own culture, religion, tradition, language. The people of Nepal respect each other religion, tradition and culture.

                                                                                                  People of different castes, religious, language spoken people live together by maintaining social harmony when and try to contribute as much as possible for the development work of the country. So, It is called "Nepal is multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-religious and multi-cultural country."
